The GroomPro™ deshedding brush is carefully engineered to guarantee gentle and effective deshedding grooming for your pet. How to Use
🐾How to Use Your GroomPro:
The GroomPro is designed for all small pets and works on a wide variety of coat types. The grooming routine depends on your pet’s coat length and condition.
Short & Medium-Haired Pets:
For pets with short or medium-length coats, GroomPro can be used directly, without the need for an extensive grooming routine.
We recommend using the brush 3-4 times per week to remove loose fur, reduce shedding, and keep the coat healthy.
Double-Coated Breeds (Husky, Spitz, etc.):
Yes, the GroomPro works very well on Huskies, Spitzes, and similar double-coated breeds when used regularly.
For the best results, we usually recommend this routine:
- Bathe your dog.
- Dry the coat completely.
- Use a grooming blower (optional but recommended).
- Finish with the GroomPro brush.
If you’re maintaining your dog’s coat regularly, simply brushing with GroomPro between grooming sessions will also provide excellent results.
Long-Haired Breeds (Golden Retriever, Old English Sheepdog, Long-Haired Malamute, etc.):
For dogs with very long, flat coats, GroomPro should be used as the final step of a complete grooming routine.
For the best possible results, we recommend:
- Use a grooming blower (strongly recommended indoors).
- Trim the coat if needed.
- Bathe your dog.
- Dry the coat completely.
- Use the grooming blower again.
- Trim once more if necessary.
- Finish by brushing with GroomPro.
During heavy seasonal shedding, it is not unusual to remove up to 2 kg (4 lb) of loose undercoat by following this complete process.
Important Notes:
- The GroomPro is more direct and effortless on short- and medium-haired pets.
- For very long-haired breeds, regular brushing with GroomPro alone is often not enough. The effectiveness will always depend on the current condition of your dog’s coat, including matting, undercoat buildup, and the shedding season.
- Consistent grooming is the best way to maintain a healthy coat and achieve the best results with GroomPro.
Following the appropriate routine for your pet’s coat type will maximize GroomPro’s performance and help keep shedding under control.

My short-haired dog loves to have her hair combed with this product. I'm able to get lots of hair from her undercoat and she is more comfortable in the heat.
